Asking for help when struggling with suicidal thoughts

In my last post, I wrote about the frantic nature of the Holiday Season in the States. This time of year is also a very difficult time for depression, anxiety, suicidal thinking, and other forms of mental illness and despair. As a member of the clergy, I have officiated numerous weddings across the Mid-Atlantic area. And I have also guided Souls who have passed to their loved ones in the Otherworlds.

If you or a loved one is struggling with end-of-life care and preparations, please contact me for help. We can work together to create a thoughtful and loving ceremony. Additionally, if you are struggling with suicidal thoughts, I urge you to seek out help immediately, even if you are embarrassed about the nature of your thoughts. Call 1-800-273-8255 (National Suicide Prevention Hotline) to speak with a counselor completely anonymously, but if you have already started thinking about a plan, call 911.
