I am not a medical doctor, nor am I a psychiatrist. I strongly ask that all readers who feel illness and/or malaise seek out medical attention as their first course of action. Shamanic healing is an excellent complement to, not a replacement for, allopathic medicine.
Additionally, I encourage all readers who are drawn to a shamanic spiritual path to seek out an ethical teacher and/or study group. Although most/all shamans eventually work alone, they DO NOT train alone. Journeying is dangerous, especially if you do not have a guide and do not know where you are going. You can inadvertently damage yourself psychically, mentally, and even physically. There are numerous excellent training programs for all personalities, and they can teach you how to protect yourself.
Good Luck and Blessings,
